FOY'S LAKE & PATENGA SEA BEACH.

Foys Lake and Potenga Sea Beach is stand in the 2nd largest city Chittagong of  Bangladesh. Foys Lake is a man made wonders . It was named after Foy who was a railway engineer. The lake was created in 1924. Actually the lake was created to provide water to residence of  railway colony. At present the Foys Lake is counted as a popular tourism place in Chittagong. It is 8KM away from the center of  the city of  Chittagong.




Thousands of  visitors come here in a week to see the Lake. The Chittagong city is fulfill with green hills and forests. Sea Beach is also a tourism spot for the people of city. The beach remain crowed mainly at Friday because it's holiday for garments workers. In sea beach you can a speed boat to visit the bank side of the beach. There also remain horse to ride and to take photo. The beach is also a picnic spots for all people and mainly for school students. The airport of Chittagong is situated besides the beach. Patenga beach 22km far from Chittagong. On Eid day and on the last day of Durga Puja the beach remain mostly crowded.
